BC Foodsafe level 1 Certification Course
Service Description
FOODSAFE Level 1 is a food handling, sanitation and work safety course designed for front line food service workers such as cooks, servers, bussers, dishwashers, and deli workers. Every food service operator, and at least one employee on every shift, must hold a FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate, or certificate from a course recognized as equivalent to FOODSAFE. The course covers important food safety and worker safety information including foodborne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing.

Booking Terms A participant’s spot in the course is not considered reserved until full payment is received via eTransfer. Upon successful payment, a confirmation email will be sent, securing your registration. Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while respecting the time and resources involved in course preparation: Cancellations Made 48 Hours or More Before the Course Start Time: You are eligible for a full refund, including the cost of any course materials. Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours Before the Course Start Time: You will receive a refund for the course materials only. The instructional portion of the course fee is non-refundable, due to scheduling and preparation commitments. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us via email as soon as possible to initiate the process.
